This project presents a clever interpretation of contemporary maisonette living and a sensitive approach to urban infill, thoughtfully referencing the character of its surrounding neighbourhood. Comprising two stacked, two-bedroom apartments—each with its own private entrance and secluded courtyard—the development offers a compact, sustainable housing model within a low-density context.
From the street, the building reads as a modest two-storey home, blending seamlessly into the streetscape while subtly introducing a new typology of small-scale, apartment-style living. The interiors are warm and distinctive, featuring carefully curated recycled materials that lend a sense of individuality, sustainability, and timelessness to the contemporary design.
