This incredible home blends sustainability, innovative design, and architectural beauty. It is thoughtfully crafted to be passive solar and energy-efficient, incorporating rammed recycled concrete and painted recycled brickwork. From the doors and windows to the floorboards and elements such as basins, baths, and lighting, every detail embraces sustainability through the use of repurposed materials. The architectural style is a fusion of mid-century charm, brutalist South American contemporary, and modern Australian design—creating a space that is both timeless and forward-thinking.

Built on a 200 sqm laneway lot, the design maximizes space while maintaining a sense of openness and connection to the environment. The home features a striking double-height void that draws in natural light, opening north to a patchwork of recycled windows, infusing the interior with an ethereal, light-filled ambiance that extends from the ground floor to the second storey.

A rooftop garden epitomizes the home’s commitment to sustainability, creating a tranquil urban oasis. Custom cabinetry with timber finishes and green hues enhances the connection to nature, adding warmth and reinforcing the home’s organic feel. This home is a testament to innovation, passion, and dedication to sustainable design, making it a beacon of eco-conscious, inner-city living.
